They wanted to celebrate in a place that held deep meaning for them. From the start, I knew this wedding would be truly special, with a stunning mountain backdrop, an international guest list, subtle Lord of the Rings touches and bright, cheerful sunflowers.
The celebration began on Saturday evening with a welcome dinner featuring port wine and a traditional Czech menu, followed by live swing music and dancing.
Sunday morning started with breakfast and then a playful second breakfast inspired by The Lord of the Rings, delighting every guest. The ceremony took place by a small chapel overlooking the mountains, accompanied by a string duo that filled the moment with elegance and tenderness.
The reception reflected a careful attention to detail and respect for tradition. Decorations were intentionally minimalist, allowing the porcelain cibulák, elegant glassware and mountain surroundings to shine. Each guest found a personalized menu in their native language at their place, giving the meal a personal and international touch. The reception included five heartfelt speeches and featured the hotel’s famous blueberry dumplings with curd, a standout highlight of the day.
Later, the celebrations moved under a tent outside, where guests laughed, danced and celebrated late into the night. Their joy and genuine happiness for Zuzka and Ondra created an unforgettable atmosphere. Instead of a traditional wedding cake, the couple chose a homemade “mole cake,” a sweet personal touch that perfectly reflected their authentic style.
